Department of the interior have developed the 'Premium Speaker Door Pod' to create an option with a more secure speaker grille, which is bolted on, and to have an alternative look to the generic round speaker grille.

NO painting or rust-proofing of the door frame is required
The Speaker Door Pod, grille and ABS Door Pocket are Australian made
Upholstered in DOI DeluxeTrim Grey (perfect colour match to your door trim and armrest), or DeluxeTrim Black
Clear and precise instructions for DIY installation
Guide on how to correctly route speaker wiring through door grommet
Includes Australian custom made ABS plastic door pocket
Constructed with medium-density fibreboard to dampen speaker vibration and enhance sound quality
Low profile design - Does NOT obstruct drivers foot on the accelerator pedal
If you're installing a component speaker, please note
You will require a mounting solution for the tweeter. The ideal location for a tweeter is on the A-pillar. The Tweeter Pillar Pods allow the separate tweeter to be mounted in the correct position to optimise the sound experience. For further information please read about the Tweeter Pillar Pods HERE regarding vehicle compatibility etc. Alternatively, we can offer our Tweeter/Mid Mounts to replace the factory 4" speaker location.
